Merifix

We have recently added a new type of locating probe that suits holes up to 0.195" (5.0mm).

This is great news if you want to use mounting holes to locate your board, since mounting holes are often larger than tooling holes. Our original locating probes are great for use with tooling holes, or small mounting holes, but are only suitable for holes up to 0.145" (3.7mm). Customers told us they sometimes needed to use larger holes to locate the board, and now they can.

Our new locating probe is the GP-2 type. It is a one-piece probe which does not require a receptacle. The head is conical with a maximum diameter of 6.0mm and the shaft is 5.0mm. Like the original S-3 and S-4 locating probes the GP-2 is supplied complete with a height-setting collar and comes in a pack of four.
